How is an air-freight quote calculated?
Air-freight pricing is not based on gross kilograms alone. Gross and volumetric weight are compared and the applicable chargeable weight is used. Routing, carrier capacity, commodity acceptance, terminal costs and delivery scope also affect the total quote.
What documents are required for international air cargo from Istanbul?
Commercial cargo pricing normally starts with a Commercial Invoice and Packing List. Depending on the commodity, HS code, technical documents, MSDS or battery documentation may also be required.
How long does air cargo from China to Turkey take?
The flight itself can be fast when cargo is ready and direct capacity is available, but the full operation also includes pickup, export acceptance, airline capacity, terminal and customs processes. Routing and cargo-ready date should therefore be checked together.
