TRANSPARENCY NOTE

This is not a report about one named customer or shipment. It explains the recurring operating flow used for similar commercial loads between 100 kg and 1 tonne and includes anonymised photographs from real PSP Expres operations.

OPERATING SCOPE

More than a booking: collection in China, acceptance checks and Istanbul arrival

An electronics shipment cannot be managed on the flight rate alone. Pickup timing, final outer dimensions, package and pallet counts, document consistency, battery or restricted-component status and pre-arrival communication all affect whether the plan works. PSP Expres coordinates these steps through one operating plan.

Shenzhen–Istanbul air-cargo flow

01

Supplier pickup

The pickup address, contact person, package count, gross weight and cargo-ready date are confirmed in China.

02

Domestic transfer in China

A suitable vehicle collects the cargo from the supplier or warehouse and transports it to the export-handling point in Shenzhen. Multiple pickup points require a separate collection plan.

03

Documents and acceptance

The commercial invoice, packing list, product description and any required battery or technical documents are checked against the physical cargo.

04

Booking and flight

Capacity, potential connections, transit time and cargo-acceptance conditions are assessed for the SZX–IST movement. The apparently cheapest option is not selected automatically.

05

Istanbul arrival coordination

The arrival notice and operation details are shared with the customs broker, and the handover process at the Çelebi cargo facility is monitored according to the agreed service scope.

ELECTRONICS ACCEPTANCE

Why electronics are not always accepted as standard general cargo

The description “electronics” is not enough for an acceptance decision. Lithium cells or batteries, strong magnets, liquids, chemicals and other restricted components can change carrier requirements. The model, technical specifications and packing details must be disclosed before booking.

01

Battery check

Depending on the product and packing configuration, lithium-battery cargo may require a UN38.3 test summary, MSDS/SDS and additional carrier declarations.

02

Packing integrity

Carton strength, internal protection, stretch wrapping, corner protection, pallet size and load restraint affect physical risk and chargeable weight.

03

Accurate description

Use the commercial product name, intended use, model information and HS code where available instead of a generic description such as “electronic parts”.

04

Dimensions and weight

Pricing is based on final outer packing. If dimensions or weight change when cargo enters the warehouse, cost and flight planning may also change.

100 KG → 1 TONNE

What changes the price between 100 kg and 1 tonne?

Total weight matters, but it does not determine the price alone. Volumetric weight, package size, inland pickup distance in China, palletisation, carrier capacity, transit routing, terminal costs, special acceptance and the scope after Istanbul are calculated together. A comparison based only on a per-kilogram figure can therefore be misleading.

IST · ARRIVAL

After arrival at the Çelebi cargo point in Istanbul

An air-freight forwarder and a customs broker perform different roles. PSP Expres coordinates transport and operational communication, while an authorised customs broker handles the import declaration and official customs formalities. Arrival documents, importer records, product permits and customs procedures must be complete before the cargo can be released. Domestic delivery after customs clearance can be planned separately on request.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Shenzhen–Istanbul electronics air cargo

Can I send 100 kg of electronic components from Shenzhen to Istanbul?+

Yes, subject to product description, dimensions, weight, battery status, commercial invoice and packing-list checks before booking.

Can one tonne of electronics move in one air shipment?+

Acceptance depends on pallet dimensions, chargeable weight, aircraft capacity, commodity checks and booking availability. A split shipment may be used when necessary.

Is the Shenzhen–Istanbul flight always direct?+

No. Direct and connecting options are compared by capacity, timing, acceptance and total cost. The quotation should state the routing scope clearly.

Are MSDS and UN38.3 always required for electronics?+

Not for every electronic product. They may be required when lithium batteries or controlled components are present, depending on the product and carrier rules.

Does PSP Expres lodge the Turkish import declaration?+

The declaration is lodged by an authorised customs broker. PSP Expres coordinates transport information and documents with the customer’s broker or an introduced partner.

What should I send for a firm quotation?+

A commercial invoice, packing list, product description, package dimensions, gross weight, pickup address, cargo-ready date and battery information form the essential starting set.
